Days Like This #AloneTogehter: A Community Story Through Photos

In February 2020, life as we know it came to an abrupt halt. Schools closed, businesses closed, and museums closed as city leaders ask citizens to stay home in order to fight the rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus, officially classified as a Pandemic.

As people all over the world face incredible uncertainty and anxiety of the unknown, millions turn to the arts to help face these uncertainties and be #AloneTogether.

Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center invite you to join us on our Facebook Group Page – “Days Like This 2020 #AloneTogether” as we journey through this time, together.

Through photography and images, share your story of life and observations during this unprecedented time. We will select photos to display daily on the community gallery page. Photos chosen from the submissions will also be displayed in a future exhibit at the MACC. The exhibition will remain part of our permanent collection to archive this historic time; the exhibition will be FREE for all to attend.

There are no requirements other than that photos must document life in and around Sumner County and Middle Tennessee. With each photograph you submit, please include a Title, Brief Story behind the Photo and Description. When submitting, be sure to include your Name and City. Once exhibition details are made, we will update the group page and share it on our website, social media pages, and in the media.
