43rd Annual Best of Sumner County Student Art Exhibit

Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center is excited to announce the 43rd Annual Best of Sumner County Student Art Exhibit! Featuring the art of students from all Sumner County middle schools and high schools families, friends, and guests have the opportunity to view incredible works by some of Sumner County’s most talented students.  Works are done in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, pencil and digital art and will awe and inspire you.

Exhibition: March 23 – April 14, 2019.

Awards Reception: April 14, 2019.  “Best in Show” works will be acknowledged and awarded.  All participating schools and teachers will also be recognized with cash awards toward their art programs.
Middle School Awards: 2:00 – 3:00 PM
High School Awards: 4:00 – 5:00 PM

This exhibition is FREE and open to the public.

The Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center is home to Historic Monthaven Mansion. Circa 1863, Monthaven is nestled in beautiful, Sumner County.

The Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center is Sumner County’s first arts museum of its kind and is an inspiring addition to the Greater Nashville Region’s Arts and Museums community.

Our mission is to collect, preserve and interpret local and regional art and present exhibits of regional, national and international importance. History, arts, education, and community will remain an ever present commitment to the Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center.
