American Veterans Art Show
Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center, in collaboration with CreatiVets, is proud to host I Didn’t Know How to Tell You, American Veterans Art Show. This powerful exhibition showcases the art of American Combat Veterans who have turned to art, music, and creative writing to heal their unseen wounds of war and honors Veterans who have suffered from Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and/or Post Traumatic Stress (PTS). Through CreatiVets’ programs, Veterans learn to use art and music as a form of stress and anxiety relief enabling the veteran to tell his or her story on a path to healing.
